How to Use
With tepid water, lather Liquid Facial Soap between palms. Massage over face and throat; rinse. Pat skin dry. Use twice daily. Follow with Steps 2 and 3: the appropriate Clarifying Lotion for your skin type, and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion or Gel.

"It cleans my skin very well and does not over dry. Also, when i use the clarifying lotion afterwards, there is never anything on the cotton ball. I have been battling bad acne on my chin for the last year. I just started using this product a month ago and my chin has cleared up."

I tried Neutrogena, Cetaphil, St.Ives, Clearasil, Clean & Clear, Noxema, Ponds, etc. You name it, I tried it. I then went to ProActiv, and it worked for a while but didn't deliver consistent results at controlling my breakouts and oily skin. A friend of mine has always had beautiful skin so I tried Clinique based on her recommendation. I don't know why I never tried Clinique's soap before. If only I could go back in time to when I first started washing my face, I would have started with this product line and that would have been it. Clinique's Liquid Facial Soap works very well, and I get consistent results. I have normal/combination skin so I use the OILY formula, and I was afraid when I first tried this that it would dry out my skin or break me out worse, but it didn't do any of that. I don't use the clarifying lotion, but I do use the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, and both of these products together leave my skin feeling cool and soft and not oily or dry at all. I get the perfect amount of moisture, and I don't wake up with a layer of oil on my face anymore. Also, my make-up stays on better now because my skin doesn't get as oily throughout the day anymore. And because my skin isn't as oily overall, I break out less. If I do break out, though, I use Clinique Acne Solutions Emergency Gel-Lotion on my spots and then follow that with the moisturizing gel. I know I can count on Clinique to get rid of my problems quickly now, and that is such a relief for me and my skin. This face wash has really improved the look and feel of my skin. I especially like that this foams up so well when I'm using it, and the cool feeling I get from the menthol makes my face feel especially clean. One other great thing about this soap is the pump on the bottle. The pump dispenses just the right amount for one wash and also locks in place for those times when you need to travel with it. I only gave it four stars because it doesn't remove eye make-up completely. I still have to prep with eye make-up remover before I wash my face. If Clinique could make this face wash take care of that issue, too, then it would be perfect.
